The work of the Kinship Activity is expanding and we need your help to ensure future growth.

The Prison Book Project now serves over 30 men and women incarcerated across the United States with Hazrat Inayat Khan’s, Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan’s, and Pir Zia Inayat Khan’s books, as well as other interfaith sources of reading. In addition, we are providing spiritual direction and teachings to many of our incarcerated brothers and sisters by Representatives of the Inayatiyya.

The Prisoner Interaction Program now has 10 trained and certified prison mentors in both the US and Europe, with more mentors signed up for the next training. We envision having at least 15 additional trained and certified mentors by the end of 2020.

Trainings and online gatherings serve as a nucleus of understanding, sympathy and service to help unite humankind in the spirit of universal loving kinship. Our events feature Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan’s Kinship teachings. See the schedule on our Events page.

The Mureeds Emergency Relief Fund (ERF) is now completing its ninth year, with 44 grants awarded to date. The Fund provides one-time grants to help Inayati Order murids in the North America region address urgent basic needs unmet by other sources. If you need help of this kind, or wish to act as an advocate for another murid, please contact us at ERF@inayatiorder.org to request an application.

The Hope Project India was founded in 1980 by the Sufi teacher, Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan. Moved by the extreme poverty of the people living near the mausoleum of his father Hazrat Inayat Khan he envisioned a program, which would enable the poor to help themselves.
Located in Basti Hazrat Nizamuddin, the Hope Project currently runs a community health center, a creche, a non-formal school, vocational training courses, a thrift and credit program, and a women’s micro-enterprise unit. Donations to the Hope Project may be made here.

All donations to the Kinship Activity North America, are tax-deductible under IRS determination for the Inayatiyya Order. Bless you for your support!
